A Child in the Old World Asks Her Mother Where Babies Come From and This is the Reply:

I am no different

than the soil, find a delight

in that. Not ever any need

to differentiate a thing

from any other thing.

That's where we come from,

from any other thing.

No part of us not

a part of any thing.

No thing not ever

not a part of us.

(Written in 1986 and the poem is supposed to be single spaced.)
